Philosophy

Skyros is changing and the local esthetic forms are affected. We hope that Saint George Skyros will influence the local market and make Skyrians and visiotrs realize that the local houses are products of a long esthetic process. We should appreciate the architectural forms we were handed in by previous generations and localize them in the best possible ways. We also aim in giving a bit of a local taste to the visitors who rent by handing them the keys of houses that are dowries, dwellings during winter or houses that locals live and they want to subrent. Renting a house is also a cultural experience and carries a part of the identity of locals. Hotels are non-places, rooms with homogenized identity. By renting a house you sponsor a local and partly our company. Houses afterall are extensions of our bodies. We live in   them, we shape them and they shape us.
